Here’s what some of our clients have said about us…
Prior to the official opening of LouZiana Food’s restaurant, Pete and Pam opened their doors to my family so that we could host an intimate private graduation party. From the planning of the menu to the cooked to order meals served to each of our guests, this is Southern hospitality at its best. This is a family owned-and-operated business where they are passionate about bringing their Cajun Creole Home style cooking to San Diego. Their food is flavorful and tasty. My favorite food items are their savory Gumbo (with chicken and andouille sausage) and their yummy Shrimp Po ‘Boys sandwich. For those wanting to kick the spice up, they have bottled their family Cajun seasoning recipe. You can even purchase these to bring home! What a pleasure to do business with!
I had my doubts about this prior to coming in today for lunch. I was born in Baton Rouge and I have a passion for Louisiana cuisine. You’ve exceeded my expectations and I hope your business grows here in San Diego. Stopping by for lunch once a week is much more affordable than a plane ticket to Louisiana. Folks, the food is legit and the gumbo is consistent with any bowl I’ve ever had in the French Quarter. Well done. Geaux Tigers!
Today I was headed out for a quick bite to eat at one of the traditional fast food joints and low and behold I noticed this place to my left, as I am driving, with a noticeable hip sign. i had to see and was I pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed a meal- the Chicken Gumbo combo – “Delish…ous”. Well seasoned and the right portion. To top it off I had the beignets, mmm good. Everyone was so nice and hospitable, including the owners Pam and Pete. I’ll be back and recommend this place to those who crave authentic Louisiana grub.
Mom, Karl and I had an early dinner. Yummiest!! Thank you Pam and Pete. We thoroughly enjoyed eating great food and awesome family atmosphere at your restaurant.
So amazing!!!! My husband and I went there and I got the catfish and he got the gumbo! Wow!!!! We also had an order of the bread pudding and it was the best I’ve ever had! You have to try it!!!
Just ate at the new restaurant after being in New Orleans a few weeks ago. Had the Gumbo and Creole Shrimp combo. And a bread pudding for desert. Everything was super yummy! Pam is a great host too!
